Volunteer Today!

There are lots of ways you can get more involved with Scouts as a parent, carer or family member.

From helping out occasionally on a parent/carer rota or playing a vital role behind the scenes, to stepping up as a regular volunteer, our opportunities are as varied as you.

We’re talking session planners, fire builders, fundraisers, Trustees and all round team players to support our young people. Being there as a adult helpers for outside events.

The good news is you shape what you do and the time you have to give. Scouts happens when a lot of us give a little (and no, you don’t have to be a Scout or outdoors expert to volunteer). New FLEXIBLE VOLUNTEER see here:

Welcome to Pathfinder Horley

Pathfinder Scouts run Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers in Horley and Salfords for over 100 young people to aged from 6 to 18 years.

Our young people enjoy what they do and have fun, taking part in activities indoors and outdoors. They learn by doing & take responsibility in new and challenging activities. We encourage them to take part in activities, camps and district and international events to broaden their experience and skills.

Volunteering can be so rewarding

We encourage young people and adults to uncover new skills, and achieve their full potential. We are continually seeking new volunteers.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
