Police & Air Ambulance – September 2019

Date: 4th Sep 2019 Author: Bev Clear

Pathfinder cubs and scout packs visited the police helicopter and Air Ambulance in September.  They asked some really great questions and found out lots of interesting things! We even got to sit in the air ambulance and the pilot gave a great explanation of how the helicopter works by demonstrating with one of the Cubs! (He was a great helicopter! ??).

The Air Ambulance crew were extremely engaging with the children and made the visit both fun and interesting! They told us about the amazing job that they do, bringing lifesaving healthcare to critical patients that would not be possible in an Ambulance. As the crew were so amazing (and do such amazing work!)  More photos here: gallery
