What we did over lockdown and the summer!

Date: 18th Oct 2020 Author: Bev Clear

In 2020 we had to adapt how we ran meetings.  So we changed over to Zoom meetings at the begining of April (That was a learning curve!)  What we learnt:

The mute button  is very important 🙂

We are so proud of all our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and leaders adapting to this new way of learning – we had lots of fun.

Here’s a few things we did!

  • Camp at Home with the Northumberland scouts – a reacord breaking attempt https://www.campathome.org.uk/
  • Celebrated VE Day
  • St Georges Day and renewed our promises
  • Planting seeds in toliet rolls
  • Mug cakes and Pizza’s
  • Necker Challange
  • Embers 2020
  • The Great Indoor Weekender
  • Make your leader challenge out of any material
  • Photography Challenge
  • Dino Ranger Adventure
  • Lots and Lots of badge work at home
